Cut-off Marks for IIT JEE 2012 - IIT JEE 2012 Cut-off Marks

It is first time in the IIT-JEE entrance exam history that the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) has finally revealed the cut-off marks for IIT-JEE 2012 exam which was conducted on 08-April-2012.

According to IIT Professors, this qualifying marks will help students to evaluate their performance and to reduce stress on students

Cut-off Marks (Min. Qualifying Marks) in IIT-JEE 2012 to be a part of AIR Ranking:

General: 10% in each subject (i.e. Min. 14 Marks in each subject - PCM)
OBC: 9% for OBC Students (i.e. Min. 13 Marks in each subject - PCM)
SC/ST and PD (Physically Disabled): 5% (i.e. Min. 7 Marks in each subject - PCM)

Aggregate Cut-off for IIT-JEE 2012 to be a part of All India Ranking (AIR):

General: 35% (i.e. 143 Min. Marks in Total)
OBC: 31.5% (i.e. 129 Min. Marks in Total)
SC/ST and PD: 17.5% (i.e. 72 Min. Marks in Total)

  1. CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) is Educational Board in India. Delhi Board of Secondary Education was merged with the Central Board and thus all the educational institutions recognized by the Delhi Board also became a part of the Central Board.
